App has suddenly stopped connecting today advising that 3G or wifi required even though it was there.

    Yes, I have the same problem, good to see it's not just me, bad that it's happening.

    The YouView cloud site that arbitrates between i-thingys and their connected YouView boxes had issues today.

    Try again now it's allegedly up and running OK again.

    Had the same problem.

    Question - last time it failed we had to delete teh App, unregister the device from the box, reboot the box and reinstall from scratch. Do we need to do that again?

    Hi Robin - are you seeing issues with it now? If so then it would be recommended to follow the same steps again.

    No, this time it seems to have come back to life without having to reset and re-install.

    after the app upgrade it no longer works and gives technical error triangle all the time. Using it on an iPhone 4S and I see elsewhere that plenty of people are having a problem - when is the fix being issued?

    I posted this on another post but putting it here as well

    I have found a workaround to get the app working until the fix is released.

    Once the app opens and starts displaying the guide tap on a programme and after it changes to the programme info screen tap the guide button and the app should work fine again.
