Closing topics

It is also worth noting there are some features of the Get Satisfaction system that could be used more/experimented with that may have an impact on this forum, e.g.
closing topics - can be done and has been done on this forum but maybe some would like to see more topics closed to further posts.

I'd like to see this used more. I'd like to see a mechanism whereby a user of the forum could nominate a thread for closure when mayhem breaks out.
