Loss of sound after 3 presses of skip backwards button

I am amazed that no one else seems to have reported this. For many updates now all 3 of my (2 types of BT) Humax Youview boxes have suffered from this problem when skipping backwards. In multiples of 3 presses of the remote control button, sound is lost. You have to pause and play or skip back or forward once more to regain sound. Surely this is happening to everyone?!

I recall that my sound seems to get messed up if I am paused and skip around. I'll maybe try your method out later and see if I get that as I use skip forward and back quite a lot and have never noticed that.

Hi Steve - Sorry to hear you're having this issue. There are some additional questions we'd like to ask you to gain a better understanding of your issue:
    • Is this happening on Live TV or your recordings?
    • Does this happen on your subscription internet channels or the aerial channels? If one specific type of channel, is it all channels or just specific ones.
    • Can you reproduce this every time you try it or is it a sporadic issue?
    • How far into the programme are you when you try to rewind?
    • Can you let us know your box make/model (Settings > System Information > Device Information)
    • Can you also let us know your software versions (Settings > System Information > Software Versions)

    ***UPDATE***

This issue is very similar to an issue we have been investigating and have fixed. This fix will be included in a future software update. However we can't know for sure it is directly related until the questions above are answered.

Hi Sanj, thanks for your replies. Apologies - I have every intention of responding to your questions but I need to put a little bit of time aside to answer the questions. I will try to do this tonight. It seems to be more sporadic than I thought and not "every 3 presses" - but I will come back to you asap.
