A first for Roy and this community - 100k points badge
Well done Roy on attaining the 100k points badge!
The YouView public forum/community went live on 20/9/2012. Roy wasn't there at the start but 6 weeks in and Roy had joined, and the forum has been the richer for his presence ever since (well bar a short few weeks period when he took a step back when understandably a little frustrated with the system
). Although he splits his time between the UK and Spain, hardly a day goes by without a number of contributions from Roy, with his mix of assistance to others, informative engagement in discussions and, of course, his unique wit
It is likely to be some time before we see another 100k points badge holder for this community, based on current trends I would expect only one other person to potentially get close any time in the next 3 years (and who knows where the product, competition, community, and community members will be then ;-) ).
Roy is definitely one of a kind, inimitable (to borrow an apt word from David Rowley (who was the CTO at Get Satisfaction until this month) over on the GetSat community)

Having been helped in the Community when my first YouView box was giving problems, I thought I should stick around and give back.
I seem to have rather overachieved :-)
For once (but only once) there is little more I can say...
For anyone wondering, DBP is a Drive-By-Poster - masters of suspense. Roy loves a good acronym and I'm pretty sure this one was of his own invention or at least it was the first time I've seen it.
On behalf of the team here at YouView, I'd just like to say thanks for all your support
