It would also be nice to know what, if anything, will change if we have any of the affected channels currently Hidden.
Will the Hidden status travel with them to their new number, or will they Unhide?
Specifically today these channels currently appear in my Youview EPG but not on my Youview App.
I believe the intention of these channels slots is to provide a buffer in for the relocated Adult channels in the EPG.?
The service ticker should pop up on any part of the Support site you are on so that users can get to that article easily.
If you previously set the channels as hidden before the Next Gen update, the ones which are due to change(as per the list in the original post) will become unhidden from the 2nd August when the Channel Update takes place. Please note that the adult channels will remain hidden if you have them set to hidden in your settings.
We understand Hide Channels is a function that is highly missed and rest assured this function is returning to your screens. We are in the early stage of trials and as soon as we have a confirmed launch date you will all be the first to know.

This is correct. These channels are there to act as a buffer between genres such as Adult channels and others.
Darren
Recordings will not be affected with the channel changes and will record as normal on the newly allocated channel
Sarah
But the buffer is there for the opposite purpose - to guard against someone accidentally wandering in there while looking for BBC Radio 4 ....
So I tried again, in case I was mistaken in what I thought I did, but I couldn't add a Like, I just got a red bar at the top.
So I expected the NotSatisfactory software had recorded the Like, and so wouldn't let me repeat it, but for some reason wasn't letting me see it.
I was asking if you, or anybody else, could see a Like from me there.
EDIT: But then when I posted this, the Like suddenly reappeared.
One for GetSat, I think.
BT are currently looking into the issue regarding Nick Jr disappearing for viewer's EPGs. I'll update once we have more info on this
Sarah
Any newly allocated or new Adult channels should be automatically hidden if you have Adult channels set to be hidden in your settings. We are aware that the channel numbers which previously housed Adult channels have a slate stating what number the channel has moved to. If you have Adult content set to hidden and you manually input the new Adult channel location, you will receive a slate saying 'Adult Section - Content for viewers over 18s only', the Adult content will not be visible.
Edit channels is in Trials at the moment and we'll make a new post once it's all ready to go as we understand that this is a highly missed feature.
Thanks
Sarah

The launch of Quest+2 has been delayed so will not be launching today. We don't have any further information on why there's a delay or when it'll be launched but I'll try and keep you updated once I know when this will be
Thanks
