    Just to help here is the correct link:-
    https://support.youview.com/youview-box/software-updates/humax-software-update-29-58-10

    and here is @Philip Trott 's version. Can you spot the difference?

    John.

    Clue, Vanilla helpfully adds HTTP:// in the box for creating a link. ;)

    @Anaglypta

    I find that the http:// put there by Vanilla is preselected on my laptop, on all browsers I have tried, so pasting in a link will by default overwrite it.

    But it is not preselected on any browsers on my iPad, so I have to delete it manually before pasting in a link, or I fall into the error that @Phil has made.

    I just tried on my Android phone, and Chrome there doesn’t show a link option at all - wrong, surely?

    But I don’t think Phil (or anybody in YouView much) uses an iPad, or they would be on to Vanilla to fix the discrepancies, like the above (which I have already reported to @Sarah, along with the comment that the default ought anyway to be https:// these days, but without result), which exist between iPad/mobile and PC operation of Vanilla  :'(

    Very odd! It certainly was not uploaded via an iPad, I edited links on this and another thread at the same time, same copy and paste and one works and the other kept the original https:// and added an https// for my link which caused the link not to work. Not entirely sure why the one I pasted lopped off the : but I'll see if I can reproduce this again on PC as having issues on multiple devices might make them look into it sooner.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    @Sarah

    @Philip Trott

     It also says 29.59.10 instead of 29.58.10 in the first post :)

    Hello
    don't know whether this is the correct place to ask a question but ....looks like the right heading/topic.
    Have turned on my Humax T2000 today and looks to have had updates done (29.58.10 in software).
    Is it right that the guide background colour has change from blue to purple? I can't see a way to alter it back or am I missing something? Chuffing awful colour.

    @seesee Can I also point out in addition to @Visionman 's advice, the BT colour scheme is not part of the 29.58.10 update, but rather the BT skin applied to all YouView boxes if your ISP is BT. This is a great source of annoyance to many affected.

    Just to give a little balance to Johns comment above, the reaction to the colour change has been mixed.
    Plus the majority of people who take to internet fora like this only do so to complain.
    (Sorry John and thats not a pop at you).
