You View box not playing back radio channels once recorded

Currently our You View box will record radio channels but does not play them back. Looking at the discussion boards and forums online we are not alone in this and its been an issue for several months. When are You View going to sort this out!! appalling service

    Welcome to the forum :) 

    This issue has been resolved for Humax Retail T2000 devices, the update for this rolled out and completed last week. 

    We don’t have an ETA for the fix on BT devices yet however once it’s ready for release, we’ll update the support site with the new software comms which get posted here on the forum and social media. 

    We have a couple of mitigations which resolve the radio recordings issue temporarily (until the next software release). 

    • Remove the HDMI cable and put it back in 
    • (if the above doesn’t help) Play the radio recording, then turning the box off via the remote and then back on via the remote as this seems to fix the issue at least for that particular recording. 

    All radio recordings will work after the next software update so please don’t carry out any factory resets to try and make them work or delete your radio recordings unless you no longer wish to listen to them. 

    Please give these a try as they should allow you to be able to listen to your radio recordings however we do understand that this is inconvenient to do.
