Apps not loading

Hi
I have a Humax DTRT2120 YouView box and just recently no apps will load.
Can select an app, the loading screen appears for a couple of seconds and then I am returned to the previous screen, no error messages are shown.
Am connected to the Internet and have power cycled box and router.
All other functions seem to work as normal, have checked for software update and the check says I have the latest version..
Next step is a factory reset but would prefer not to lose my recordings.
Appreciate any ideas

You don't need to lose recordings if you use the maintenance mode & follow the instructions as per this link: https://support.youview.com/youview-box/box-and-remote/using-maintenance-mode?q=maint#maintenance-mode-options Carefully select: OPTION TWO.
I think you are looking at the Youview internal menu for factory reset. DON'T use this! This will delete recording & reset box (only if you want to). The maintenance mode gives the user extra options. Good luck. Let us know how you get on & if you need more help someone on forum will be able to give advice. John L
