Would an EE 4GEE WiFi (osprey WiFi 2 mini) work as an alternative to a dead TL-WR702N?

As the title suggests, my five year old TL-WR702N has died: no IP, unable to access it's signal, cannot access the admin page.

I have though an EE 4G Mini travel router lying about. Has anyone ever tried this as way to connect ones YouView box to a home broadband signal?

At a guess, this device has no capability to link to your home router, but will go online to EE over a mobile network.

The cost of watching internet content on YouView over this does not bear thinking about, and the charges will rapidly exceed the cost of the TL-WR802N you may find better suited to your purposes (and your purse).
