Hi all,

Please feel to discuss and provide feedback about the TalkTalk Software Update 60.48.53 / 3.6.36 & 72.48.53 / 3.6.36 here. 

This release includes a few copy and labelling changes and some updates to the Action Panel.

    Why is it staged, even if you request it and / or do a maintenance reset to force it and it doesn't arrive?

    Because they can't update hundreds of thousands of boxes at the same time.

    Hi @steviejay

    The releases are always done in phases as this allows us to monitor the release and ensure that everything runs correctly on the new update. The length of the phases vary between retail, BT and TalkTalk but generally speaking the releases are usually fully rolled out within 2 weeks. 

    Once it's fully rolled out we update the software table so if you find that it's fully rolled out and you've still not received it, then we can look into why this may have happened with your box.

    Loving the changes and look of it all but I'm struggling with one of the new features..
    Search added to Action Panel
    Now you can search a show straight from the action panel. Press the information button on any programme to bring up the action panel. From there you can select ‘Search’ and we’ll find all the results for that show for you.

    I cannot get this search up in the action panel. Can you explain exactly where and when you press Info to get this. Sounds useful but I can't see it anywhere.

    PS when might we ever get the the recordings clash - others options available message back? It was so incredibly useful.
    And.....If you are watching a HD channel - the whats on other channels should (down arrow) show HD options first?  :)

    Hi @Richard Lister

    Search in Action Panel is a feature currently available on BT and Retail devices and will be included on TTG devices in a later release.

    The feature was included erroneously in the software release notes but has since been removed. My apologies for any confusion this has caused.
