He: “Hey, Althorpe, my old stamping ground, is on Flog It, on BBC1!”
She: (from the other room) “No, BBC1 is pointless!’
He: ”Yes, I know that, but still put it on!”
She: ”No, BBC1 is Pointless - Flog It is on BBC2”
He: (uncertain) “Yes, but Info on this YouView box says it’s on BBC one”
She: (firmly) “Well it isn’t”

Was it? You decide.....

NB: I believe this is/was a YouView error, as when I switched to the Info on this programme on the TV itself, direct from the BBC, no such discrepancy was present.

And no, I’m not in the picture....

Is it normal to have a channel listed on the top line along with the programme title or has someone mistakenly included it as part of the programme title.

Yes, it’s normal. Choose any broadcast channel on YouView, press the i-in-a-circle Info button, and you will see a channel logo in that position.

So far this morning, all the ones I have looked at have been correct.

I have channel logos turned off  in Youview Settings which I thought only impacted the guide/mini guide but it also suppresses the logo on that info screen.
