Does anyone have or know of a keyboard that is compatible with the BT Youview box? Entering stuff to search on Amazon prime and Netflix is a right pain in backside. Anyone know if a wireless dongle would work for a wireless keyboard? There must be a way. Preferably wireless if not a keyboard plugged into the USB port. Anyone? Help!

Most USB keyboards should work @Shortbloke51.
The help page on the use of USB keyboards with YouView boxes is here.

As said above, any USB keyboard will work, including wireless ones with dedicated mini dongles (they just pretend to be wired).
Bluetooth keyboards won't work though, even if you plug in a Bluetooth transceiver.

But as you may have found, USB keyboard typing only works fully in the YouView main UI. When you launch a player app, they drop into "remote control emulation" mode so alpha keys don't go to the app - you can only type numbers, so you can't type directly into search fields, you have to use the virtual keyboards provided by the apps.

YouView's search is global though (Backtick ` on a USB keyboard, press Home first if you're in an app), so you can use the top-level search to find things in Amazon Prime and Netflix and deeplink directly into the apps from there.
