Hi all,

Please use this thread to discuss the most recent BT software update 32.35.0 / 3.6.128 for T2100, T2200 & T4000 devices.

This release contains the Jump to Time feature and the ability to now delete your search history. This includes a fix for the scheduled recordings not appearing in the Scheduled Recordings section of MyTV.

Having spent an age on BSB & MotoGP yesterday fast forwarding, this is welcome - albeit a tad late for this season !

    Hi @Newfy
We don't run the youviewupdate twitter account so we can't change that unfortunately. The one from our official twitter account (@youviewsupport) has the right link on it :)
    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi @braysoj1
Do you mean that you're a part of YouView trials? Have you managed to complete the set up process and try to update then?
    Thanks,
    Sarah

sigh - yes indeed, but it was the second tweet of 2 consecutive about the latest upgrade - so not expecting it to only refer to that feature.

Thank you so much for your critique ...

Sorry to have been pedantic, I agree it was rather confusing  :)

Another small detail - it is described as a BT Retail software release  in the Sept 23 announcement whereas the model numbers listed currently are the boxes supplied with the BT TV packages rather than the two  BT retail models.

So not yet for T2110 then? Ever or never?

Mine came down early evening yesterday - works just fine.

    Hi all,

The T2110 & T2210 boxes will get this release once the rollout to the T2100, T2200 & T4000 boxes is complete. We'll update the software release pages and the release notes once the rollout is complete for all of the BT T2xxx boxes.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

YouView Update on Twitter then had this to say ...

"The problem was when the details were first posted on the forum, YouView hadn't published their update page. I (YVU) should have been more patient before tweeting about it..."

Hi Newfi. The YouView Update page is maintained by an individual user and so is not an official YouView source or has any affiliation with YouView or its partners.
I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

that was pointed out some time back by Sarah !

    But thanks anyway !

"You can now skip 10% increments on your recording playback by pressing a number on the keypad. The recording is split into 10 parts so pressing ‘5’ on the keypad will skip playback to 50%, while 3 will skip 30%."

Not sure how to interpret this. Does it mean that if you're already half-way through the recording, pressing '5' will skip 50% of what's remaining?  Or does 'skip' really mean 'jump to'?

Skip means jump and yes if you're say 60% in pressing 5 goes back to 50%
and jump is shown on the screen so not sure where skip came from?

What's  that skip....some abandoned orphans trapped down a flooded nuclear bunker with a ticking time bomb that's set to explode in the next five minutes.....

They really don't make them like that anymore 🇦🇺

Is there any difference in using  jump  0 key and holding OK  remote key in recordings to replay recording from the start ?(0 seems quicker to me as there is no count down)

Certainly doesn't seem to be & as you say it's far,far quicker.

So I picked up my Youview remote whilst watching a recording and inadvertedly touched one of the number buttons. Confused me for a second before I realised it's the new "jump around the recording" option built into this release.
So I know about this as do others here and on the other forums discussing the Youview boxes but what about the other 99% of users who have no idea about this change?
