Deleted Series

I set up my youview box (DN372T) to record a series, when I decided that I didn't want to watch it any longer I cancelled the series, but my box carries on recording it even though it's no longer in the scheduled recordings.
 Any ideas ?

    Hi @johnnyshank
    Can you please confirm the software version your box is on? You can find this by pressing Help and then Info on your remote control. 
    Has this happened with numerous recordings or just with the one series? It'd be helpful to know the programme name and the channel it was going to be recorded on as well.

    Software Version 72-48-81 it has happened with various recordings, for instance "Sliders" on SCIFI channel I set it up to record series then decided I didn't like it any more, deleted series record and yet it continues to record the episodes.

    You have one of those weirded and wonderful problems that YouView boxes throw up from time to time, and you seem to be alone with this one.

    So, well worth trying a non-destructive soft reset - while not recording nor about to, press the On/Standby button, and keep it pressed for just over 8 seconds, until the box reboots itself.

    See if this clears the issue.
    These tests for COVID-19 might get right up my nose, if only I could get one
