No UKTV player

Hi all,  I have all my apps working on my tv box, but the UKTV player is not working I click on it and it just goes blank and stays on the channel I am watching?any advice on what to do would be helpful thank you.

    Which box do you have and how are you connected to the internet? Do all the others work?
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

    Hi visionman everything is working perfectly all the other apps are fine internet is working all updated apps  tv channels all there, the only thing I can think off is I am using Belmont signal which has been up dated in the last few days

    Do you even have a YouView? If so which one and how are you connected?
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

    What has Youview got to do with Belmont signal? UKTV works from your Broadband. Might be worth looking at your instructions for Smart TV if this has apps and have recheck to see what is happening? John L
    Can't wait for the day when Youview get rid of the dreaded darkened banner when using fast forward/rewind recordings.

    guys I am an old lady and I don’t understand a lot of technical stuff,  if I did I would not be asking on here, sorry if I am not au fait with my talktalk box.  My you view is a huawei model DN372T.1.02.P and I am using an ethernet cable. As I said before everything is working fine but not my UKTV play app it’s there but will not connect?

    Hi,
    Firstly go to settings and update players. If that does not work try holding the front on / off button until the box restarts.
    If these options do not work then try a maintenance reset. Instructions are here. https://support.youview.com/youview-box/box-and-remote/using-maintenance-mode/

    If none of these work, I suggest you post on the TalkTalk help forum, as they may swap your box over if you are still a customer.

    Hi ree4488,
    We are all volunteers on the forum. You actually know more than my elderly mother! I have to explain to her what an app is! If she wants BBC iPlayer I have still show her how to get there. When you mentioned Belmont, this was confusing to anyone reading the question. We all live at different parts of UK. Hope you are able to solve your problem. If you still need help tomorrow Youview staff are back in office or contact talktalk if you are subscribed to their service. John L

    hi guys I have been given a new box and just put it on and everything it working fine now, thank you for all your help and advice it is most appropriated
