You view box problem

My youview box has been randomly switching itself off for weeks and now says "cannot connect to the internet". I have checked all connections and restarted the box and the router numerous times but nothing works.

My internet connection is ok as I have access on other devices, does my box need replacing?

    Hi Ralmo,
    Welcome to the forum. Before you go racing down the road to the shops for a new Youview box, try the soft reset 8 second press the power button on your Youview box.
    If this doesn't resolve, then move onto the  "famous" maintenance mode options 2. Full instructions can be obtained at the top of this page. Simply type maintenance mode on the search bar under help/support. Hopefully this will resolve your problem. Please let the forum know how you get on. John L
    Can't wait for the day when Youview get rid of the dreaded darkened banner when using fast forward/rewind recordings.
