Films feature not listing many sources

Hi. Has anyone else noticed that the films feature doesn’t display stuff from many places? It lists stuff on bbc, itv, 5, 4, NOW TV, Horror channel. Nothing from Amazon on Netflix or Yesterday. Who chooses what goes in there & what criteria do they use? It all seems very limited to me.

    Hi Mike70, My film search category only includes channels on the EPG and not players and so doesn't include Now TV, but you say yours does?
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

    Pretty glad mine doesn't, 
    There's nothing more infuriating then locating a movie only to find it resides behind a pay wall 🤑

    There is. 

    It’s finding a movie, unobtainable on DVD or anything else, that you have wanted to see again for years, being shown on a Freeview channel that the BT app tells you you’ve got, and even lets you schedule a recording for, only to find that you can’t actually get that channel where you live, even though your transmitter is a full fat one, because it goes along with the ‘local’ ones, and can only be got in big cities 😢

    It appears there has been a change to YouViews search engine. Paywalls are no longer included. A change which has been asked for for years. Unless someone knows different?
    Local transmitters not included.
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

    Thanks for all the comments. I suppose my question relates round the fact that the newish film category on the sub menu next to TV shows, does by & large only display terrestrial channels but includes NOW TV.. why is this included when Netflix, Amazon Prime & Britbox are not?

    Sorry for any confusion, Mike70. I was accessing the films category via the blue button on the EPG, which doesn't return NOW TV results. But using the main menu for a film search does. Floods it in fact. I for one am glad other paywall apps don't. Especially if a user doesn't subscribe to them.
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.
