I have just had a peep over there and a number of customers are expressing gratitude that the app is working for them, some obvious confusion and wires crossed it seems.
TalkTalk triallists must think NDA means Notify Damn’near Anybody...
Maybe I've not understood the situation correctly, but I don't think it is as clear cut as that Roy. The person who first went public was one of the TalkTalk OCEs. Perhaps @Stevef_fr8ys could shed some more light on this mess.
I first heard it hear, and indeed Karl went public, so it must have been mentioned internally for him to do so, or maybe staff were testing? No triallists were asked to test it so no breach of NDA in any triallists part. As @Hosay299 has said the only trial was for another app that had already been tested by the YouView testers, so more a validation exercise.

I get what you mean as I'm a member of that forum, but not in this case, as they who had it weren't told it was secret and so spilled the beans. Thankfully the reaction has been positive.
I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

We weren't even told so we did not spill any beans, as there were none to spill!
It was an OCE who first mentioned it as without that no-one even tried the App as we all thought it not working.
I admit to having answered previously unhappy posters that it was now working, but only after finding out and confirming it myself.
What absolute b*llox. You all spilled beans when they didn't realise there were any to spill. Because they weren't told. No blame there. Communication from a Communications company at its finest. Not. I wouldn't worry about it, BT are the same.

@Roy what do you mean, the first rule of Fight Club?
It doesn't bother me to be honest, it just seems amateurish and a bit of a shambles on TalkTalk's part, especially raising hopes for those who have yet to get access.

To confirm: there is no TalkTalk rollout in progress currently, and we have fed back to the TalkTalk Community team for clarification.
Thank you,
Louise.

Says the lock of the forum.... or something along those lines ....
