Be advised that BT are increasing prices from 1st November right across the board.
    Ignore this if you disagree.

Interesting, so this may be an attempt to "sweeten the pill".  ;)

Yes they are increasing there prices right across the board as @kodikid says but thats only for new customers or if you renewed your contract after Feb this year.
If you take the Britbox offer you will have to renew contracts. Then come November you will be hit with the BT price increase.
All other BT customers will see the montly price increase when its normally due to go up next year.

Not looked in detail at the offer but can i ask @Darren why you believe you need to renew your contract to take the Britbox offer.

With BT if your contracted and you accept a offer or in fact alter your plan in any way you have to renew for a further 12 or 18 months.
There's no way to avoid this.
    Ignore this if you disagree.

So offering NowTV was a clever ploy to get everyone who took up this ‘no contract’ offer from BT locked in to a BT contract for another 12 or 18 months?
8 years in, and still a Johnny-come-lately with ten people getting the badge before me!

    Morning Roy
You can't actually take up this offer unless you commit to a monthly subscription.
Before this it was 6 months half price sports.
    Clever is open to interpretation.

@zulu17 most offers BT do seem to also mean renewing your broadband or TV contract.
