Sound keeps going on and off

BT change youview box 4k and it is the same. The engerneer told me it is a problem with the youview 4k box. When i had the old youview box had no problem. Has anyone got any ideas? Or just cancel the 4k youview box. And also loose channels.

    What are you watching when you get this problem?

    What is playing the sound - the TV, a soundbar, or what?

    And can you please specify the make and model of TV, soundbar, or whatever is involved?

    NB: Loose channels can be firmed up by retuning.
    Back to my usual level of bafflement, then...
