    Try switching your Youview box off and on by the switch at the back and letting it reboot. 
    I have to do this from time to time.

    "Switch it off and on again". Systems Programming in the 21st century.
    I have now got the non-loading Apps problem. No error message, no indication of what the problem might be, just gives you "Loading" with the 4 dots of death for a while, then returns you to the previous screen without comment. Help won't load from the Settings menu either. Presumably there is some problem accessing the network, but I can successfully schedule recordings remotely, and the box says that the broadband is connected.
    I will do the hard reboot when I get the chance. Luckily I also have to do that once in a while anyway to avoid another bug (i.e. pause/rewind of live programs stops working properly after a while).  :D
