currently with Virgin who are hiking their prices up. We will keep broadband with them as too much hassle to change but thought about getting a youview box. Would it work to be able to watch live tv abs recording also apps like Netflix and Prime we have subscriptions on? Are we ok with our Virgin Broadband or does it have to be BT or Talk Talk??

    Its basically the same as freeview and works with any broadband but and it's a big but... it hasn't got WiFi so you'll need your router close to the box or use powerline adapters.

    You can also get Now TV with the Youview box. If you decide you stil want to pay for some extra channels.
    Any broadband isp will work with a Youview box.
    As @kodikid says Youview box don't have WFi.
    If you want a Youview box I would have a look on Amazon as Youview no longer sell there boxes in the shops.
