Switched TV on today and was told there is a problem with my aerial - YVA302. (The old TV upstairs which does not use YouView is working as normal which makes me think the aerial is OK.) Have checked the connections behind the box and the socket in to the wall - they seem fine. Then I went to Settings and retuned TV channels. Now I have NO aerial channels. We are still able to watch things I recorded on YouView.
Any help would be appreciated. Mine is a TalkTalk HUAWEI box.

Have you tried plugging the aerial directly into the tv bypassing the YouView box? Do you get any channels on the tv? Try a retune on the tv too if you have not used the TV tuner for a while.

If you get no channels then it is an aerial issue.

If you do get channels, then retune the box with the aerial out which will clear any memory within the box. Then retune with aerial back in.

Let us know how you get on as there are other things you can try.

When taking @Stevef_fr8ys advice, I’d suggest retuning the TV no matter what, as it might be hanging on to the old tunings just like the YouView box was.

So an unconditional retune is really the only fair comparison here.
Back to my usual level of bafflement, then...
