Sky News now in HD via BT

Sky News HD is now on channel 385 via the EPG on BT. I only found this out as someone posted about it over on the BT Community forums that I also use.
Sky News in SD is also on channel 313 but I dont really see the point of the SD version of Sky News being on channel 313. As its already in SD on Freeview channel 233.

    I guess that is for BT NOW TV subscribers only?

    If you buy a now boost (£3) then anyone with a current now pass can watch it. Its also available for free on YouTube.

    Sure, but only in the NowTV app. You can’t watch it on the BT channel 385, even if that comes up on your EPG.

    That used to be the case but 385 working fine now for me.

    Obviously you have BT as your ISP, and you have a NowTV subscription.

    But do you have BT TV? 

    And/or do you have a NowTV subscription that is not through BT?

    Ah yes, Now TV via BT TV. So that'll be why.
