Ability to access STV player on my KD49XG8305 Sony Smart TV

I live in Scotland and have a problem accessing the STV player through YouView(pre installed stv app). Does anyone else have a problem?

I don't have problem playing the STV player via Youview but it will keep signing me out of my STV account.
I don't like the layout of the STV Player so I tent not use it much.
I also live in Scotland about 16 or 17 miles north of Edinburgh.

Welcome to the forum  

Is the STV app not available for you or are you having issues watching the content within the app? Can you confirm that you have the aerial plugged into your TV?
