Netflix is the only app that works

Around the beginning of March 2021 IPlayer, ITVhub, channel 4 catch-up and My5 stopped working on my Humax Youview DTRT2000 box. When you press the button it tries to load but then goes back to the normal screen. Netflix however loads and I can watch movies on that. I have followed all the instructions to try and get IPlayer etc.back but none of them have worked.
Can anyone help please?

    @Abbi

    Greetings, and welcome to the Community!

    We had this issue on YouView on Sony TVs, and it was always down to the date and time being wrong on the TV, which stopped all the internet apps working except for Netflix, which didn’t seem to care about that.

    It would be fairly unusual, though, for the date and time to go wrong on a YouView box, though I have seen this in the past.

    But this is the first thing you should check.

    If it is the problem, then try a soft reset; while not recording nor about to, touch the On/standby button (on the left of the fascia) for just over 8 seconds until the box reboots.

    This won’t affect your recordings, or even your settings, but may put the date and time correct.

    If this isn’t the problem though, or it is but the soft reset doesn’t fix it, please come back and report, and we will offer more advice.

    @Roy thank you.
    I do not have a Sony tv. I have a Samsung but applied the same logic but to no avail. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. Only the Netflix app works.

    Yes, I only mentioned the Sony TVs because we were seeing this exact problem with them; and I was thinking that maybe the time/date on your YouView box, if it were wrong, would cause the same problem on that box.

    So I take it the box time and date are correct?

    In which case, the next thing to try is a Maintenance Mode Option 2 reset, as here:-
    https://support.youview.com/youview-box/box-and-remote/using-maintenance-mode/

    This will preserve your recordings, and maybe your schedule, but not much else, so make a note of any non-standard settings you have so you can put them back afterwards.

    And please let us know if this works or not to solve the problem.

    Thank you so much. That fix did the trick and it was really easy to do.
    Thank you again.
