I have exactly the same problem on my Sony Bravia Android TV since the STV player has been loaded. The only way I can get it to work is to turn the TV off at the wall for a few seconds and then restart. The player will then work until the TV is turned off. The error message says we are not connected to the network although we are and all other players on Youview function correctly.

I get the message STV Player error NW-1
Hi SarahIf it is an issue with the TV rather than the app why are all the other apps connecting to the wifi and working properly? I am loth to reset the TV for just this one item.
