I keep getting message for all programme’s saying this program won’t record please try again later

it has recorded right up to 6 pm then all of a sudden it kept flailing to record on everything.

One thing you can easily try, if the box is playing up, is to touch the On/Standby button for just over 8 seconds, until the box soft resets itself.
This won’t affect any of your existing recordings, or your settings, but is quite effective at curing temporary glitches.
If it doesn’t fix the problem, though, come back with the answers to the questions below, and we will go from there.
Which model of YouView box have you got, are you subscribed via BT TV or TalkTalk, and if not, who is your ISP?
When this happens, are you able to watch the channel it is going to be on, live, at that moment?
How full is your hard disc?
Can you play back existing recordings that you have?
