Hi Alex. Is it possible to say what’s fixed in this release? Which I assume is what a maintenance release is. It would be a lot more useful to provide feedback to you guys on known issues supposedly fixed by this release. There are a number of bugs that I’ve been experiencing since acquiring the pro box over the past several months - that I’ve seen others report on other forums. I’ve reported these bugs on this forum before, for previous releases, but not one has been fixed yet. I live in hope 😀.
If you're still having these ""bug's "" after this maintenance release then it's irrelevant as to what they are as your particular issue hasn't been addressed.
Assuming your box is included as part of a BT sub then it's BT who you should be contacting regarding issues with the pro box.
If you bought it on the grey market (ebay etc) then it's the chance you take as with any third party purchase.
It should not be the job of somebody with one of these boxes to painstakingly work through their bug list every time there is a new release, to see what has been fixed and what hasn’t.
No matter how they obtained it.

Bit odd it's even mentioned here at all to be honest. It's a BT update, which makes sense as officially that's the only place you can obtain a pro box. Bizarrely no mention at all on the BT youview community.
Some feedback on bugs not fixed to @Alex. The three bugs I experience, that I have reported for previous software updates. Below are findings on this most recent software release.
Bug 1: BT box HDMI reverts to 60hz when the box goes into standby overnight. If the box standby mode is disabled to ‘always on’ this bug doesn’t happen. For the SMART standby mode then the bug is guaranteed to happen every night. The BT box as the source negotiates the HDMI connection to set the refresh rate from the available supported refresh rates of the TV (where 50hz is supported). This bug is still present in the latest update. The bug is only mitigated by a box power cycle. The bug presents itself visually as a refresh rate problem - it flickers is the best way to describe it. I wouldn’t describe it as stutter like bug 2.
Bug 2: The live TV stutter is still present. The picture starts to stutter, for live TV on freeview only, after 30 mins to 90mins (give or take). It’s an irregular but frequent random stutter of the frame rate. It only happens for live TV. It does not happen for buffered live TV (after pressing pause and resuming playback), recordings, streaming in apps or recording playback. Only live TV is affected. Changing TV channel resolves it until it happens again, or if you briefly pause the tuned channel.
Bug 3: The BT box locks-up frequently when HDMI-CEC is enabled on the TV. This bug doesn’t happen ever when HDMI-CEC on the TV is disabled. So far this bug hasn’t reoccurred on the recent update with HDMI-CEC enabled on my TV so maybe hopefully fixed - but needs more time before I’m confident. I’ll report back at a later date if that changes.
29/09/22 Update on bug 3. Happened again so not fixed either.
@Alex I haven't had this software update as yet, but I notice that the website says that roll out status is Completed: https://support.youview.com/youview-box/software-updates/latest-software-versions/ I have clicked on Update software in Settings but get the message that my box is running the fastest version of software. Can you let me know if the update is still rolling out please?
Hi Louise, it was showing 4.0.222/0.6.18. The Visual Guide update had downloaded and was working. I did a Maintenance Mode 2 reset today which downloaded 4.0.238/0.6.112. Lost my setting but all working now. Is there any way to force an update without resorting to a MM2 reset?
Hi Louise I am having the same problem. My Bt Pro Box hasn't update to 4.0.2.38/0.6.112. I have done two full reset of the box, and still not received it. Also on the Software Information screen, under the Update Apps option, there is a feedback group. TV-Box-Pro-VG1. I haven't joined the feedback. When you selected tht option another screen comes up. I have selected the none option but it keeps coming up.

Would that be alphabetically or in order of disruption .

That might very well explain why those who actually did the software for the box had to report this.

Could you let us know what software version you're seeing on your device?
Thanks.
