No Countdown recorded today, and not on catchup either!

Countdown having been bumped along a day this week, so as to show due respect for, and not to clash with, the Queen’s funeral on Monday, Channel 4 showed Friday’s episode today, Saturday.

But our YouView box hasn’t recorded it, and it isn’t available on catchup either, on YouView or on other platforms.

Can somebody please twist Channel Four’s arm, to get this right? And ask why it wasn’t in the Series with this week’s earlier episodes, as it should have been?

    Looks like there was no series CRID  for todays episode on Freeview and hence not on Youview so neither would recognise it as part of a series.
     The  episode is on All4  just not linked to from the Youview EPG.

    It wasn’t on All4 for a long time, but I can see it there now.

    I wonder what the mechanism is, such that YouView still can’t ‘see’ it as available for catchup on the backwards EPG?

    Well the two episodes  of Moneybags that followed Countdown today are also not yet showing as available on catchup but are  both on All4.

    As an aside I also did a Search for Countdown which produced this


    so 423 episodes yet when selecting  it produced a long list of 431 episodes which currently ends with yesterday,s episode.

    Observation - Did a quick check this morning  the link to the catchup of Countdown for Saturdays and Mondays episodes is still missing from the backwards EPG but yesterday (Tuesday) episode is linked.
