Lost stv player once itvx downloaded

Hi I wonder if anyone can help 
I downloaded the newitvx  app when I was updating my apps on my Sony bravia TV. I then lost all stv catch up on you view catch up although I can watch stv live . I can't watch my soaps on catch up on itvx either. Can anyone help

    Cant help with the lost stv player, though I bet something about itvX is breaking it.

    But if you can’t watch your soaps because they were on stv, and itvX won’t let you have itv 1 where they also are, then set your postcode to EC in the itvX settings, and that should give you itv 1, for the time being, at least.

    Just to add that I presume you looked to see if you could find and re-download the STV Player?

    If it’s not in the Google/Android TV Play Store, try looking under Sony Select for it.
