A Start Oddity
People on the Sony Community are reporting that they can’t start the catchup apps associated with YouView when a recording is in progress:-

though starting a recording while one of these apps is open is no problem, and the problem does not occur with other apps, e.g. Netflix.
Several explanations have been put forth, though most of them founder on that ‘though’.
But it looks like these apps are checking something that stops them starting up with a recording going, which seems unnecessary when they can perfectly well continue to run alongside a recording started while the app is open.
So I call ‘bug’.
