I am looking to develop drivers for home automation (Control 4)

The BT TV Box and the BT TV Box Mini are currently controlled utilising Bluetooth technology rather than its previous set top boxes using IR (Infra Red) technologies in the remote controls. This presents an issue in home automaton control as in general they utilise either IR or IP technologies to communicate.

Being a Control4 certified partner, my company is looking to develop a driver for the BT TV Box and Mini that allows control of their systems and to achieve this it would be essential to obtain the application programming interface (API) for the set top boxes to facilitate their control in home automation system.

Does anybody know how I can get the API for the boxes?

a) Unfortunately there is no API

but b) The devices still respond to the Humax YouView IR code set, so you can use that
