Since BBC1 Yorks HD channel there has been no information in the guide for HD102 to 109 only on BBC1 Yorks HD

I have to check on the TV listing 1 to 9 and if I schedule a record on 1 to 9 am often offered the option to record in HD. Why has this changed?

Welcome to the forum. The BBC regional channels are going through many changes at the moment. Are you aware that all regional news channels are being upgraded (thankfully) to HD regions? The advantage is no more having to change from 101HD to an SD channel to watch local news.

The reason why you are getting this message is probably because you want SD channel and your PVR is recommending HD or maybe you need to retune again, if box hasn't automatically updated your channels? This may be why guide info is not displaying correctly. @YorkshireLass, there's going to be more changes as the BBC progress with the channel changes rolled out. Might not be to everyone's delight, but that's what's happening. Hopefully answered your question. John L

Yesterday, my DTR-T2100 brought up a warning that it would need retuning on 26th April as a result of several local BBC regional channels going HD.

(This did not include either of my local regional channels 😢)

It looks like a gun has been jumped; normal service should be resumed if you retune your box.

Please note that a current YouView bug is the absence of a progress bar when retuning; but retune anyway, and after about three minutes of apparently nothing whatsoever happening, it should come back to you nicely retuned.
