Recovering password for my old user id?

Hi, I have just re-registered on these forums after several years away.  I did try to recover / reset my password for my old user id but I no longer have access to the email address I used then.  Would it be possible to change that to my new email address if I jump through sufficient hoops to show I am who I say I am?

    I can message an admin my old user id and the email address used for it if that helps - just tried a password reset using that address but the email will disappear into a black hole.

    Hi @gomezz, unfortunately without access to the previously used email address we wouldn't be able to do this. Feel free to message me if you need any further help.

    Thanks,
    Rohit

    I have temporarily restored access to the old email address and requested a password reset but nothing is turning up?

    Why bother?

    You obviously can post and respond so why the need for old emails and resetting passwords?

    @kodikid

    Perhaps because it would better reflect @gomez long and distinguished history in the Community?
