No ITV catch up player available

Hello YouViewers,

I've just set up a Huawei YouView box. Not using it for TV - just catch up. It works just fine but I have no ITV catch up showing. Any ideas?

    Hi Richard, no ITV Player at all, or just certain programmes? Whereabouts in the UK are you?

    I believe ITV Player does initially require the box to be connected to an aerial and tuned in as it is region dependent.

    Richard,

    You will need to connect an aerial to your youview box and scan for channels. The ITV player only appears after the box has detected a valid ITV region.

    You can unplug the aerial after that.

    Thanks everyone who has replied. I'll plug in the aerial and let it scan channels as suggested.

    redchiz - I'm near Cheddar (south of Bristol) but looks like the others may have hit the nail on the head.
