How to use smilies on the Forum

Hi all,
I've been thinking about this for a while. As internet forums such as this one are primarily created to be a peer to peer engagement device. For user to user communication, discussion, problem solving, and problem reporting too.
But the English language is quite quirky, in that what you mean is often not what you say, but the way you say it. But as forums are just the written word, this can sometimes be difficult or misinterpreted. So using smilies would sometimes help with user to user communication.
So heres a link to a free smiley website with an ABC guide on how to do it -
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys-ba...
The page I have linked to is the 'basic smiley' page, but there are many more.
Each smiley has three copy and paste options -
Forum Code
HTML Code
URL
And all you need do is copy and paste the HTML option. like this smiley -
And please feel free to use this thread as a tester to try it out.
