Its probably best to ask Talktalk directly, either through their own forum, through their Twitter account, or live chat etc. unless there are other talk talk users on the forum here who can help? If you refer to the box set available through the Nowtv entertainment package, then that is a no. This is because the entertainment package is only available if the Nowtv live channels are too, and those have been pulled from Nowtv on Talktalk.
Lots of people are hoping that Nowtv and Youview can come to agreement and implement the now TV live linear channels so we can access the entertainment and sport packages across all Youview boxes both retail and Talktalk and BT.
I'm patiently waiting for this to happen before tonight's episode 1 season 5 Game of Thrones , but don't hold your breath
We got it via a chromecast special offer of free 3 months worth of Entertainment Pass on Now TV which G of T is on. We're using it to catch up with it now.
So you go onto "On Demand" on the TalkTalk Youview box - sign up with your freebie and there they are! All episodes on demand???
Joe - the poster above - says it's not.
I'm soooooooo confused!
But thanks all for taking time.

The NOW TV Entertainment channels and Box Sets are NOT available on TalkTalk/YouView I'm afraid, the only limited service available is for Sky Movies On Demand if you have the appropriate subscription.

Sorry for any confusion. It's exactly as Redchiz says.
So you won't be able to watch game of thrones through Nowtv on Youview, only ondemand movies.
If you still want to watch Game of Thrones directly on your TV , maybe try Michael G's suggestion and use a Google chromecast to access the Nowtv entertainment subscription that includes Sky Atlantic and Game of thrones? Alternatively there is the Nowtv box for about £10 or £19 with included 3 months entertainment subscription

But NowTV in many (most?) other places - PC/laptop, NowTV box, Roku box, Google Chromecast, Apple TV box to my knowledge - can't speak for games boxes as I don't console myself with them - will let you watch all of Game of Thrones on catchup if you pony up your £6.99 a month for the Entertainment Pack..
But I don't know which Pack(s) let you watch the limited subset that NowTV provide on YouView; is it just the Movies Pack, perchance, on the grounds that it is all there is on there?

"can't speak for games boxes as I don't console myself with them".
He's good, isn't he?
Richard, no, as I said, I'm talking about the version I got with a freebie via chromecast. I believe the version on YV is more restrictive. If GoT is not on the YV version, Joe's suggestion of a Now TV box of £19 with a free 3 months entertainment subscription would seem to be the most cost effective way of getting legal access now, and the box is there for other stuff.
"Fortitude" on Sky Atlantic we particularly enjoyed, a mix of nordic/brit thriller.
For Now TV to make on demand box sets available from their live TV content, rights issues dictate they must also show said live channels on the platform they wish to offer the boxsets. But YouView doesn't have any live Now TV channels, so they are unable to offer boxsets on YouView at this time.
I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.
Seasons 1 - 4 of Game of Thrones on NOW TV are listed as having only 16 days left. So anyone who wants to catch up on these before watching the new programmes will need to do some serious "binge viewing"!

That's us stuffed then. Taken us 2 weeks to get to S1E5. Every time I put one on I think of Full Monty and can't get into it ;-)

Not sure that is entirely accurate . I believe that catchup TV normally requires the TV channel is broadcast live on the platform. however I doubt whether that applies to on demand box sets of older series. fEven Now TV shows on demand box sets for channels it does not broadcast live on any platform .... Eg ABC is an on demand content only channel
Thanks everyone for clearing this up. Not happy about a white box hanging out the back of my TV - I'll just get the DVD's 2nd hand. I am thinking of Chromecast to allow me to stream to my TV from my ipad and iphone. Michael - do you still have to have the little white box? If not why doesn't everyone get a Chromecast that allows you to connect to NowTV? thanks again R

Hi Richard
I don't have the white box. I hate boxes. I hate wires. I've got too much of both already. And a white box with wires.... urgh :-)
No, I have the Now TV app on my android stuff and can cast that to my chromecast dongles. Each TV has one for day to day stuff. Another's in the amp just for DD+ from Netflix.
CC in the UK currently comes with a free 3 months offer on Now/Entertainment pack and I'm using that. The full content offers are here:
Like Netflix, Google Play, Blinkbox etc etc the Now app is "cast optimized". So when I press the cast icon it hands the streaming over direct to chromecast. The phone etc isn't mirroring and can be used normally, or even switched off. And CC has just had a firmware update which enables basic pause/stop/play functionaility on most apps using the TV remote via HDMI-CEC.
As to...
"...why doesn't everyone get a Chromecast that allows you to connect to NowTV?"
Ummm.
1. Not everyone likes Google. 2. It only works on 2.4GHz and needs a good wi-fi connection. 3. Some folks can't get their head round no remote. 4. Screen mirroring only works on android, and PC/Mac, in a good network. 4. There's generally better support for android, PC, and chrome OS.
If you like the fruit stuff do check out Apple TV. It has some level of Now TV baked in, and for iOS, offers Airplay. It would suit you better if you also want to push local content around or generally mirror what's on your mobile devices.
But bear in mind:
Its online offering is US centric (Airplay can help to balance this).

'some level' of NowTV on the Apple TV is the highest, or strictly speaking the higher, as there are only two levels, of quality. If you want to cast iThingys to the TV, it's a must-have, though if you are Android-only, there is no compelling reason to buy one that I can see, and a Chromecast or Roku will do perfectly well.
As we are platform-agnostic, not to say platform-acquisitive, we have all three; but it was the Apple TV that did the honours last night, when GoTh kicked off again with S05E01.

Valuable info all. So Roy you prefer the Apple TV for better quality when it comes to Nowtv?

Indeed. By "level" I meant the content range, knowing that the YV offering, for example, is more restricted than the version I use. I've no idea what level of content the Now app on ATV offers. But you're right on the "quality" offering.
Most platforms do 720p via Now On Demand, and SD on Live TV. ATV does 720p on both. YV is SD on both.
I looked once at the "Live" offering, and it seemed to be heavily populated by such as Friends and Fools n Horses. I decided I had them covered anyway.
I can watch GoT S5E1 tonight in 720p but likely won't. 35 previous episodes in 16 days? For us, I fear that boat has sailed.

I'm always behind the curve when it comes to this new habit of binge watching blockbuster series. Just avoid spoilers in the press and online and you should be fine

Is this possible? NowTV doesn't confirm box sets a re available.

According to this table:-
http://help.nowtv.com/article/Streami...
(With a nod to mark evans for finding it)
the Apple TV is the only better-than-SD device for watching NowTV live.
We binge-watched GoTh Series 1-3 from an Xmas present of the BluRay set, and we were onto Series 4 by early February (best not to ask).
It just needs planning, but most importantly two loos and synchronised bladders :-)
