Aspect Ratio

Why do channels come to Youview and not have the proper aspect ratio ie: channel 61 True Enterainment picture is squased (tall and skinny) channel 82 True Christmas elongated (short and fat)

    "As we speak", channel 61 is the correct aspect ratio (4:3, black bars down the side) as they're transmitting old non-widescreen content. YouView is displaying this correctly.
    Channel 82 on the other hand is also transmitting 4:3 content but they've incorrectly set the flag to say it's widescreen, so YouView is displaying it wide, as it's told. Somebody should ping the channel to tell them off...

    Yes I noticed this too when I looked at the channel for the first time the other day. 

    Can Someone at Youview have a word with True Christmas? San/Phil?
