Please post any further comments at the bottom of this thread, as posting them anywhere else can be very confusing and so garner a lot less replies, if any at all. Thanks.

Hi, I have the same problem...Netflix totally crashes at midnight, I have to do a hard reset of the Youview box. It's so frustrating!
'merely reset...' - Not on your nellie! A hard reset is almost always required on my box, and my router's time is accurate as well. No, this is merely Netflix not giving a flying whatever for their customers....

I have a Samsung Smart TV. After midnight can't get Netflix to start anything !!!! Amazon, iPlayer etc are fine , so it is not an Internet or infrastructure issue, purely Netflix. No solution so far
Thought I'd update everyone, this weekend Netflix hasn'tcrashed on me for the first time ever!! I haven't changed any settings or router, it just played through with no problem from 11.00pm-02.30am.
I have exactly the same problem. I called the engineer out and he did a hard reset but this was at 11 am so didn't wait around for 13 hours waiting for it to happen, and guess what exactly the same thing happened. So now I turn off Netflix and go and make a brew at 11.57pm then at 12.05am turn NETFLIX back on...Problem sorted, It is a YOUVIEW BOX issue not Netflix, because when I use it on my firestick it works fine all night/morning, plus if it was Netflix you would still be able to come out of the app, but the box freezes so it is a BOX issue.
No, it isn't. Its a Netflix clock reset problem that affects users the world over.
This forums had hits (posts) about this problem from users from the USA, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands and none of them have ever had a YouView box.

Just to let everyone know we got the bike fixed, in case you were worried. It turns out the part is called a 3-speed toggle chain gear indicator, and replacements are still readily available.
Makes a change from fixing broken links on websites, anyway....

And BTW, this is a YouView and not Samsung forum. But we're always happy to help.
Can you help me fix my bike? :-)
One of the links on the little chain that goes into the Sturmey Archer 3-speed is coming apart, and I'm scared it might break?
