Hello,
I can not record movies from the channel movies24, this problem has just started, I can set the recording from the guide, when I check the scheduled list the movies are not listed, I have done a soft reboot on the youview box, and also done a retune, but no good.
Also the scheduled recordings list does not come up on the screen have to wait for about 1 min then the scheduled list will show on the screen.
the box I have is DTR4000 from BT and the box is running the latest software.
Any help would be great.

Thank you

Matthew

Press and hold the power button on the box for 8 seconds and it will soft reboot. This won't affect any recordings you have.
I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

There are 2 ways to reboot a DTR T4000.

Put the box into standby and then pull the power. Reboot your hub and wait for the line to settle (about 5 mins). Then power the box up and turn it on (about 3 mins).
However, if I may, a few questions...
Movies24 is an IP channel on BT TV channel 513, so retuning won't do any good, as it doesn't come via your aerial but comes via an internet subscription package.
MATTHEW, how old is your box and does it run hot?

Do you subscribe to BTs subscription channels? If not, you can't access it.

Then if you have a recorder it should work.

If his YouView box is connected to the internet.

From the other thread he has posted, this is not yet established as being the case, and needs to be checked.

Finally drawing enough information from both threads, it sounds like you have a hardware issue. As such, you need to contact BT for a possible replacement.

    Hi,

I have contact BT and they have told me that the problem is hardware and internet signal, but since speaking with BT they told me they would do some checks at there end, since then the internet signal have got better and the picture on BT sport is a lot clearer and brighter, and the internet works at lot better as well.

    Thanks
