Why do I think Bunnyfoot will be a shoe-in?  :D

I have a lucky rabbits foot - it wasn't so lucky for the rabbit though :s so it's not a given that any of their four projects will win.  :D

Never mind the judges and sponsors, have you seen some of the other nominees? I'm not sure I would like to be associated with them. E.G. Do Birmingham City Council "users" include those who haven't had their bins emptied for three months?

    They were lucky

All of us haven't had 'Jump to Time' functionality for twice as long

You know, when all the promised features have been re-introduced, plus those that weren't but already have been (thinking of the MyTV user journey there), this platform is/will be a more than viable and credible option.
I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

And then is the time to go for industry awards.  Not now.
  • It's well worthy of consideration as it stands in my opinion. The only thing I see left to introduce (for me) is the 'jump to time in timebar' function (and for BT box owners 'edit channels' which is imminent anyway). I've been without the 'jump to time' feature for so long now I don't really miss it anymore, but it will be welcome when it makes its triumphant return.

Yet they keep on winning them.
We all know at the moment it falls a long way short. In time, like tears, in rain.

    Hi everyone,

We are happy to report that we won 'Advanced TV Innovation of the Year' award at the Content Innovation Awards yesterday. You can find out more here.

  • Congrats guys.

It’s wonderful that you are getting accolades, but keep the pressure on, and remember that he who rests on his laurels is wearing them in the wrong place  :)

Personally, I’d like to see you win the ‘No less functional than the version it replaces’ accolade for NextGen - maybe as the ‘Advanced TV Renovation of the Year’?  >:)

"Richard Halton, CEO of YouView added,

“It has been an incredible year for the YouView team . . ."

Well hard to argue with that.  Who'd have believed this time last year we'd be where we are now.

Well done team. But as Roy said, keep the pressure on. :)

i keep seeing that topic heading each time a post is added and can't help imagining UXUK as a bad acronym being pronounced "you-suck" sorry!

I discovered that Huawei is pronounced ‘Who are we?’

    And if they don’t know.......

No, no, no. The internet says its pronounced in geordie, as in 'Hu way the lads!'

    LOL  :D

But I think the Huawei people I met at an ExCel exhibition I attended might know how their company name is pronounced  B)
