What on demand players would you like to see with YouView?

    I'd welcome Vevo too, I already use it by playing my android phone through the TV, but it's not the most convenient set up.

    I am slightly disappointed that as of now Vevo seem to be the only new party publicly stating that they're on their way to YouView.

    NASA TV and Youtube.
    The PS3 YouTube app is now rather good(as long as you create a US account to install it).
    The Android remote function works well.

    Netflix, Lovefilm instant, You tube, Android app, Much more on demand content similar to the original BT vision top package including music videos and whole seasons of various shows, Gold demand (For the wife) Ability to record other channels. Film review app,

    A proper Documentary channel and im not talking about some over acted show about storage lockers etc etc.

    id love syfy movies as they a guilty pleasure.

    and id go for some form of add supported free movie channel.

    im also quite found of trailers so a dedicated section be nice but think these are sometimes mixed with other services.

    the money for me start these myself and start a new empire of UK ondemand content.

    or a side hobbie of writing subtitles in my own style lol

    Is there a dedicated Film4 player? That would be cool.
    The usual lovefilm, netflix, blinkbox and SKY Go would be awsome so I can watch the football in peace.

    The ability to show players you subscribe to would be good. So, if I subscribe to Eurosport player that get paid by direct debit. The ability to import this player to my you view players list would be good. That way you can import what you need and delete what you dont.

    Or

    Eurosport player would be awesome

    when is Netflix going to be added and why cant the individual set it up for who they want as they do with a PC

    Because YV needs a special sort of player that has to be specially written for the YV box, and Netflix can't and won't write one until they can agree a commercial arrangement with YV.

    YV is not a free-for-all like the interweb, something which has both advantages and drawbacks.

    This thread is five years old. You are of course welcome to start your own thread and you post is more likely to be seen by others if you do. I'm sure all users of youview have a wishlist of apps or players I myself am just happy when I see one getting added instead of removed.

    Why is a nearly 4 or 5 year old thread been restarted. I could understand a threat being restarted after a few months but a tread as old as this being restated is stilly. Like Danial said we all have apps we would like to come to Youview and there have been a few threads about it in the past.
