[Discussion] BT Software Update 31.106.0 / 3.5.96

Hi everyone, 

Feel free to discuss the BT software update 31.106.0 / 3.5.96 in this thread. 

This update brings the Amazon Prime Video player to BT T4000 devices.

As with all  our releases, this is a phased release so if you don't get it right away, don't worry, your box will receive it soon :)

    If you manually update now theres a high chance you'll get it.
    I'm now happy with the disagree icon, because its gone.

    I got it straight away which makes a nice change. I usually find I have to wait weeks!

    Hi

    I have received update 31.106.0/3.5.96 for my T4000 box. However in the players and Apps menu I still do not have Amazon Prime. Box has been restarted and channel scan performed as suggested by BT TV chat support ?? BT support have now suggested that Amazon Prime will not be available until 1st December not convinced by that response, surely if the new software has been installed then the app should be available. Has anybody else got the same issue ? or advice on how I can get Amazon Prime to appear in my Players and Apps Menu ?

    @EurekaMan - Things are half correct as usual lol. The software has not changed from the previous rollout (see this announcement - https://community.youview.com/youview/discussion/7604781/discussion-bt-software-update-31-106-0-3-5-96#latest)

    so you can still be on this software without the new app. The BT forum have stated it is a staged rollout for the app and they are aiming for 100% completion by the end of November (hence the 1st December date). If you keep checking your players update you should get it sooner than 1st December but it is staged.

    I had the same issue.
    It didn't populate on the players until I completely powered down and back up again  Then the app appeared. I can also tell you it's active and no need to wait till December

    Bought the UHD box from Amazon last week and installed the latest software,minus Prime.Did a soft reset yesterday,and voila,there it was!

    Just checked. Have 31.106, the Amazon Prime app, and an updated app that now has Ketchup TV, Sports Channel Network, Planet Knowledge, and, coming soon, The Gas Station (whatever that is).
