Youview bband plug not working

175w175w Member Posts: 2
When we click the youview button on our remote it says there's no internet.
I've checked and the wifi works but the plug used to create the wireless connection through the power sockets isn't lighting up - so I'm guessing it's broken.

How do we resolve this?

Not lighting up is telling you there's no power getting to it. Check that the actual socket is switched on, failing that check the fuse box. Extremely rare that they stop operating they normally just stop performing.

Yes, I thought that, but that's the case and no problems with the electric and the other plug is working fine.
Do talktalk review these messages or do we need to call in?

If you have a specific talktalk issue, you'd be best to post on their help forum.
If they supplied the plugs they may be ale to help. If purchased, then you may have to buy new ones.
Have you tried resetting them? Try unplugging and place in adjacent plug sockets and re-pair them.
Tell talktalk the steps you have taken and ensure your phone number is in your profile as they use this to tie up with your account.

There should be a utility for your plugs that would allow you to check their operation. Eg Devolo cockpit. Check for one relevant to your make of plug and it'll tell you if they're working correctly. If they are then it may be the cable.
