    Hi John L
    Last night i deleted all recordings from around the time of the problem i was having. One of these was a "failed to record" but there was no reason why this was the case (nothing else happening at the time so should have recorded ok).
    I find today, all seems well.   Will keep an eye on it but perhaps it was just one of them things!!

    Why can I no longer see the days at the top of the TV guide? Seems to be faded to near black, and its a pain when trying to go through a weeks tv guide.

    Can you post a photo of what you are seeing on your tv. Someone on the forum, inc. myself might be able to help suggest what problem is. Hopefully it will be a simple solution to solve your problem. John L
    Can't wait for the day when Youview get rid of the dreaded darkened banner when using fast forward/rewind recordings.
