Hi all I'm hoping someone can help. I've got the Dn372t.01.02.p 001 but the software is still at 3.6.162/72.48.47 so I don't have the updated UI or ability to use the BT TV app for remote recording. I've tried forcing a software update and it says it's the latest version. Any idea why I can't get the latest updates? Thanks

Are you a TalkTalk triallist such that you are on a different release schedule? If so, the normal release rules won’t apply to you.

If not, then outwith the software update, is your box connected to the internet such that you can use any Players?

If it is, then carry out a Maintenance Mode Option 2, as below, or an Option 4, either of which may trigger the requisite download:-

Thank you so much Michael & Roy. I wasn't aware the trial programme could delay updates and I knew nothing about the manual maintenance options. I removed myself from the trial and did a factory reset but kept existing recordings. This has got me the latest software and ability to use the BT TV app. Thank you so much for your quick and helpful responses.

If you are a triallist, you should have had this release before others had it to trial!

Send the trials team an email and explain what happened and that you have removed the box from trials. Others may have an issue, although mine are OK.

You can join again by following the set up procedure they originally sent you If you wish.

Thanks Steve. Yes, I agree, I would've thought as a trialist I would get updates sooner not later than general release. Thanks for the advice, I will certainly get in touch with them & let them know. I'm reluctant to join the trial again in case I miss out on future updates too.

Your software versions will always be different on trials to the latest update
It doesn't mean you are missing out.
If software is giving an issue in trials, you should contact the trials trials team for help as they will know what is in their software that may be giving rise to issues.
If you want the tried and tested software, then trials is not for you.

    Hi Nuggett26, Good morning,
Not sure if you are aware, but anything to do with trialists is discussed on trialists feedback forum and not on this community forum. Not to be discussed on this forum. It also causes confusion with other users.
Hope you resolve your problem, but raise issues with the trials team via Youview/centercode webpage. John L
Can't wait for the day when Youview get rid of the dreaded darkened banner when using fast forward/rewind recordings.
