TalkTalk Freeview channels gone!!

I couldn’t find ANY of my channels, I checked the wires etc, and it suggested to retune it, however it’s now lost all my freeview channels, and I only have my subscription channels.
Ive reset the box etc, tried to retune again but it still won’t find the channels.

    Take the aerial connection out of the YouView box, and plug it into your TV instead of any aerial connection the TV currently has.

    Then retune the TV. 

    Does that now lose all its channels? 

    If so, you have an aerial fault, so check the aerial wiring all the way back to the aerial, including any amplifier/splitter it may have.

    And if there is a strange box, with mains going in and aerial connections coming out, somewhere, and you turned it off because you couldn’t see what it was for, turn it back on again.

    But if the TV tunes all the channels just fine, but the YouView box doesn’t, follow the advice in the posting to @dameamy that I just made in ‘Signal issues, lost channels, only records in stand-by mode’
