Pairing BT Remote to Toshiba TV

Hi Folks!

Wondering if anyone can help. I’m trying to pair my BT TV remote to my Toshiba TV. Have done it successfully in the past with my Samsung and an old Bush TV but the Toshiba code 5523 doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas or alternative codes?

    There's no reason why 5523 doesn't work.
    Slowly go through it again and remember keep your finger on the off button till your set switches off, most just press it the once and surmise it hasn't worked.
