BTTV App - searching in "On Now & Later" fails with error GG500

e.g. Go into the BTTV App and Search for a program title using the magnifying glass (or, possibly, table tennis bat) at the top of the screen.

The results for "On Demand" are shown, but if I click on the "On Now and Later" tab, I get the error  "!   Sorry - there's a problem - Please try again (GG500)". The online advice for this error of "Close the App and restart"
does not work.

Anyone else getting this? It seems to have been broken for me for some weeks now.

As I use(d) this feature, it would be nice to have it fixed.
I realise that as a non-BT subscriber, the App is provided without support and "as is". Is it also possible to have it "as was" please, i.e. working. :-)

    @LastPintDave9

It’s OK on my 2016 iPad Pro rocking iPadOS 15.0:-

What are you running the app on?

Thanks Roy, sorry, I should have said, on an Android 10 'phone.

No problems on my Moto G on Android 5.1 either.

But Android devices are many and varied, unlike iOS ones, where if it works on one, it likely works on them all.

So you might have to say precisely which model of Android phone, and see if one of our dwindling band might know something.

And even as a non-BT subscriber though, you could still go on the BT TV YouView Community and ask about it.

Thanks for trying it Rob. Strange.
Looks like something I've set on the 'phone then, possibly.
As I need reliable remote access to the box next week, I'll leave changes & further investigations until after then.
    Thanks both for your help.

Lest anyone comes looking for an answer to this...

In my case, I was going to try reinstalling the BT TV App via the Google Play App on my 'phone. When I found the BT TV App on there, there was an "Upgrade" button, so I clicked on that.

Lo and behold, after the "upgrade", Search now works as expected in "On Now and Later".
